Leicester City are reportedly looking to form a reunion between Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool playmaker Adam Lallana in the summer, but face plenty of Premier League competition – and Foxes fans have reacted on Twitter.

Lallana, 31, is out of contract at Liverpool in the summer and although he remains a crucial squad player under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, the former Southampton star is likely to leave at the end of the season – ending a six-year spell at Anfield.

The Telegraph have claimed in an exclusive report that Leicester want to bring Lallana to the King Power as the future of James Maddison continues to come under discussion. Rodgers was the man to bring Lallana to Anfield in 2014 for £25m (BBC).

Now, Rodgers is keen on a reunion but he faces plenty of Premier League competition. Newcastle United were linked with a move in January, while the latest report claims north London enemies Tottenham and Arsenal also want Lallana.

West Ham are also thought to be interested in the England international, but they would certainly have to remain in the Premier League if they were to stand any chance of signing Lallana. He has clocked up 175 appearances for Liverpool since his move.

Leicester fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club are interested in forming a reunion between Rodgers and Lallana at the King Power – and the majority of Foxes fans are desperate to see the midfielder in blue next season.
