Leicester City are reportedly set to sell defender Elliott Moore to League One outfit Oxford United, according to the Leicester Mercury.
They report that the Foxes do not feel the 22-year-old has much hope of forcing his way into Brendan Rodgers’ plans and they are happy to take the money from Karl Robinson’s side.
Moore has apparently been at the club since the age of six, but is yet to play a senior game for them, having spent two seasons on loan at another King Power-owned club, OH Leuven.
He stands at 6ft 5in, meaning he should withstand the rigours of the EFL well, but Leicester just have an array of defensive talent that means it’s tough for him to muscle in.

Even if Harry Maguire does eventually leave for Manchester United, Rodgers looks set to invest heavily in a replacement rather than look towards his young charges.
Rodgers has a huge amount of young talent at his disposal, but there cannot be room for the promising prospects he has bought as well as what the Foxes are producing themselves.
It’s in Moore’s interests as well to leave the King Power Stadium, at 22 he needs to be playing regular football that means something every week.
