Leicester City winger Rachid Ghezzal must step up in the absence of Demarai Gray.
The Algerian winger joined the Foxes for £12.5 million this summer from AS Monaco, as reported by the Daily Mail.
He was signed as a direct replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who left to join Manchester City. Much is expected of Ghezzal, but he hasn’t set the world alight so far.

In his defence, he is most likely still settling into his new life in England.
But with Gray out for up to six weeks after getting his ankle stuck in the turf against Wolves in the Carabao Cup, Ghezzal needs to step up.
Gray a big miss for Leicester
The England U21 winger is probably Leicester’s most dangerous winger.
With him out of the side, it’ll be up to Ghezzal to provide Leicester with a threat from the wide areas.
Emphasis was on Gray, but with him out of the picture there is now nowhere for Ghezzal to hide.

The winger does have one goal to his name having scored against Liverpool a few weeks ago.
He has been commended for his defensive work, but some Leicester fans are looking for a little more by way of attacking output. Now is the time for him to prove he has that in his arsenal.
Leicester fans must have patience
Although Ghezzal has to step up his game a little, he obviously isn’t on the same level as Mahrez.
To make the comparison is only natural given they play in the same position and represent the same national team.

But Mahrez did amazing things during his time at the King Power, and Ghezzal has only just joined.
Perhaps with Gray out of action, he will thrive being the ‘main’ winger.
