Leicester City pushed Manchester City all the way at the King Power Stadium yesterday. The Foxes clearly wanted to write their way into the title race this season and were unfortunate to lose against the Premier League leaders. In the end, it took a thunderbolt from Vincent Kompany to secure all three points for the home side.
Plenty of the Leicester players put in displays to be proud of. Ben Chilwell was one of them. The England international put in a fine performance at left-back. He did well defensively against City’s legions of attacking talent. He also got forward when possible to push City back and give Leicester a chance of attacking.

Of course, Chilwell has been linked with a move to Manchester City. As reported by The Telegraph in March, the champions are big fans of the player, but would have to pay over the £75 million record transfer for a defender to get hold of him.
But Leicester fans will still not be happy with what they saw between Chilwell and Pep Guardiola after the game.
The City boss and the left-back were very friendly and some fans on twitter even suggested the Spaniard hinted he’d see him in the summer.
Of course, that seems unlikely. Guardiola is always quick to congratulate opposing players on performances he appreciates.
Also, as reported by The Sun, City are now ready to back French defender Benjamin Mendy at left-back along with breakout star Oleksandr Zinchenko next term.
Either way, Leicester fans will just want Guardiola to stay away from their star left-back in future.
