Leicester City fans react to Youri Tielemans’ goalscoring international display

Youri Tielemans has taken his form from last season’s loan spell at Leicester City into his permanent career with the club and he showed his class at international level last night as well.

He started the match for Belgium as they thumped San Marino 9-0 to become the first side to book their place at next summer’s European Championship.

Tielemans weighed in with the sixth goal just before half time as the minnows were swept aside by Roberto Martinez’s side.

He kept his impressive season going and many Leicester supporters on Twitter were not surprised at all he continued to show just how good he is.

For Tielemans to be starting in a team packed with such talent is a strong indicator of how good he is and he is only going to get better.

Now that Belgium have booked their place at next summer’s showpiece, Tielemans can get to work on earning his place in the 23-man squad.

The way to do that is to take his international form into his assignments with Leicester, where stiffer opposition than San Marino awaits.
