There was more cause for celebration for Leeds fans last night as Gjanni Alioski helped North Macedonia to a memorable win over Germany.

Despite giving a penalty away, Alioski put in a fine performance overall to ensure a memorable night for his country and ensure they took the scalp of one of the very best teams in world football.

Alioski’s impressive put the stamp on a good week for the Whites. Kalvin Phillips has played an integral role for England, while the likes of Stuart Dallas and Diego Llorente were also involved for their countries.

But Alioski, who is being linked with a controversial move to Galatasaray, was the standout result for Leeds players, and some fans were quick to praise the Whites ace on Twitter.
