Leeds United’s Stuart Dallas got 180 minutes under his belt during the international break with Northern Ireland, but familiar problems in his game were on show.
The 27-year-old was involved in Nations League defeats to both Austria and Bosnia-Herzegovina for Michael O’Neill’s side.
He’s an important player within his national side and missed a great opportunity to pick up some momentum over the two-week break from domestic football.
Dallas is an attacker with immense work-rate and is someone that never ducks away from his defensive responsibilities.
But the winger definitely lacks an attacking edge to his game and that’s a problem that surfaced once again for Norther Ireland in the two recent matches.

He struggled to impact the game in the final third on the internatonal stage and failed to really take on defenders in one-on-one positions.
The wide man is yet to register a goal or assist for Leeds too this season in his eight appearances across all competitions, which highlights his struggles in front of goal right now.
Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa has used the versatile Dallas at full-back and perhaps that may become his more common position at Elland Road moving forward if he continues to struggle in attacking areas.
