Leeds United have reportedly entered the race to sign Anderlecht’s Sergio Gomez.
According to TEAMtalk, the Whites are hoping to bolster their ranks at left-back.
Leeds signed Junior Firpo last season, but the 25-year-old has struggled in his maiden campaign at Elland Road.

And Victor Orta is now apparently looking at Gomez as a potential target.
However, Leeds aren’t the only club reportedly eyeing the 21-year-old.
As well as the Whites, the likes of Real Madrid, Lyon, Atalanta and Ajax are apparently in the race.
Gomez joined Anderlecht in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for a reported £2million.
He has starred for the Belgians this season, registering six goals and 14 assists from 41 outings.
Gomez is a product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia setup, spending seven-and-a-half years in their ranks.
In January 2018, Dortmund signed the then 17-year-old.
“Sergio Gomez is undoubtedly one of the best players of his age in the world,” their former sporting director Michael Zorc said at the time.
“We’ve been interested in him for some time and are happy that he has decided to join Borussia Dortmund despite offers from many top European clubs.”
Sadly, Gomez only made three senior appearances for Dortmund before leaving for Anderlecht.
However, he now looks ready for a step up in his career – can Leeds be the club where he kicks on further?
