Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani spoke to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio last night and in an interview quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post, it was claimed that he spoke with Zlatan Ibrahimovic about a January move to Elland Road.
The transcribed also mentions that Radrizzani spoke to the brother of PSG forward Edinson Cavani over a deal too; although nothing came to fruition with either player.
Leeds pulling off the signing of such world-class talent as a Championship club would have been pretty much unthinkable.
It does, however, highlight that ambition will be at the top of the order as long as Radrizzani is in place a the top table of the football club.

Zlatan opted to join AC Milan on a one-year deal and during the interview, the Leeds bigwig didn’t rule out returning for the experienced striker in the summer.
Leeds are currently sat top of the Championship and Premier League football beckons for the first time since 2004.
