Leeds United teenage talent Morten Spencer has confirmed he has switched agents and is the latest to join Ian Harte’s agency YMU Football – alongside a number of former Leeds stars.
Spencer, 16, is already make waves despite his tender age. He joined Leeds in March 2019 from Sunderland’s youth academy – just two weeks after his 16th birthday. He has since been a member of the club’s Under-18 side.
His name has also been noticed on the international scene. Initially being called up by England’s Under-15 side, Spencer has since changed allegiance and scored for Norway’s under-15 side on his debut – against England.
A left-winger, Spencer is already making plenty of noises at both club and national team level and it is likely that he could force his way into the Whites’ Under-23 side soon. He confirmed on Twitter he had switched to Harte’s agency.
The YMU Group, of which Harte works for, boast a number of high-profile players – mainly operating in the United Kingdom and in the MLS. Kemar Roofe and Jack Clarke are also on the books and being looked after by Harte.
Other big names include Tottenham’s Harry Winks and Kyle Walker-Peters, RB Leipzig’s Tyler Adams, Rangers veteran Steven Davis and Manchester United youngster Brandon Williams. Harte responded to Spencer’s Tweet.
