Leeds United youngster Adrian Balboa is set to leave the club on loan, according to reports in Spain. Cadena COPE is reporting that the talented attacker is set to join Lorca in Spain’s third-tier.
The Murcia-based side are managed by former Deportivo La Coruna and Birmingham City striker Walter Pandiani and Balboa is set to join on loan.
The report carries a quote from the player, who is hopeful of helping Lorca win promotion back to Spain’s second-tier.
“I am convinced that with Pandiani we will achieve the objective (of promotion)”.
Balboa’s deal was out on ice yesterday, due to a public holiday in Spain, but it seems a deal is now just around the corner for the Leeds man.

TBR’s View
Leeds United snapped up Balboa amidst a big recruitment drive from Victor Orta for the club’s youth team.
The 21-year-old arrived in July 2017 from Unificacion Bellvitge but struggled to have an impact with Leeds at any level.
Last season he spent time on loan with Terrassa and Vilafranca in Spain’s lower tiers and it has never looked like Balboa had a long-term future with Leeds United.
His current deal at Thorp Arch expires in 2020 and if he completes this loan deal it would seem Leeds fans will never see him featuring for the first-team at Elland Road.
