Leeds United will welcome return to form and fitness from Stuart Dallas

Leeds United have had plenty of players on international duty this week. The likes of Gjanni Alioski, Pontus Jansson and Mateusz Klich have all been away with their countries.

Two others were both in action for Northern Ireland. Bailey Peacock-Farrell made his international debut whilst ever-present Stuart Dallas was also in action.

Whilst the young keeper received mixed reviews, Dallas did not.

The 27-year-old was one of his nation’s better players in their 2-1 loss to Bosnia-Herzegovina last week.

He will now be hoping to shine again tomorrow when his nation takes on Israel.

For Leeds, a return to form from Dallas would represent excellent news.

Many have doubted whether the wide-man is good enough to help Leeds to promotion. It led some to even believe Leeds could sell him this summer.

However, Marcelo Bielsa will no doubt relish the versatility Dallas can bring. He can play either wing, both sides of the defence, and has recently been used centrally by the Argentine.

Dallas has now clearly recovered from his recent thigh injury and can take confidence from a positive display for his nation.

Leeds will hope he brings such form back to Elland Road.
