Clarke offer

Southampton have reportedly offered Leeds United £5 million for star youngster Jack Clarke.

According to Football Insider, the Saints are keen on the player and have made the offer this week.

However, such a paltry fee will undoubtedly be laughed at by the Leeds hierarchy.

They have already made it clear to Premier League suitors that Clarke is not currently for sale at any price.

O’Dowda

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has made it clear he has no intention of letting reported Leeds United target Callum O’Dowda leave the club this month.

As quoted by the Bristol Post the Robins boss stated that O’Dowda ‘is a fantastic human being’ and that he wants him at the club for years to come.

Sky Sports recently suggested that Leeds were keen on the Irish international but Bristol handed him a new contract recently to end any speculation.

McBurnie comments

Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie has confirmed that he will be doing whatever possible to keep Leeds United target Daniel James at the Liberty Stadium.

The Welsh international has emerged as the main target for Leeds in the remainder of the transfer window.

Speaking to Dai Sport the Scottish striker, himself a former Leeds target and youth player, stated he was going to ‘lock him in a room’ for a quiet word about why he should avoid Leeds and stay at Swansea.
