Leeds United summer signing Rasmus Kristensen has given a mixed verdict on how he feels he’s fared at Elland Road so far.

The Whites defender says he’s “satisfied” with how he’s done, but “not happy”, believing he can improve.

The Whites signed the Denmark international full-back from Red Bull Salzburg in July, for a reported £10million.

Like Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams, Kristensen has previously worked with Leeds boss Jesse Marsch.

The 25-year-old started the season as first-choice right-back, and has made six Premier League outings for the Whites.

Now, Kristensen faces a battle to hang on to his starting place amid competition from Luke Ayling and Cody Drameh.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the Leeds ace was asked about how he feels he’s done so far at Elland Road.

“I think my form has been solid,” replied the Dane. We have played well.

“Some games defensively, we have had massive results.

“I would like to be more active going forward. I am satisfied, but I am not happy.”

Kristensen is a talented player, but his workrate and attitude are also spot on for Leeds.

He’s done fairly well so far, and suggesting he’s not thrilled with how he’s done so far suggests he’ll work even harder to improve.

With added competition at right-back and players working harder to be in starting contention, it’s a good selection headache for Marsch.
