Leeds United clearly have a star on their hands in the shape of Jack Clarke. The talented winger has been flying for Marcelo Bielsa’s men this season. Initially, as a super sub, he played a starring role from the start as Leeds beat Derby County 2-0 on Friday night.
Such form has clearly not gone unnoticed. As reported by the Daily Mail, his form has attracted the interest of several Premier League clubs.
The likes of Manchester City and Liverpool have been tentatively linked in the past but Leeds will no doubt want to keep their 18-year-old talent.
But if they did sell him, how much could they command for the player?
If they are to look at a precedent, then Ryan Sessegnon would suggest Leeds must not undervalue the player.
The Fulham youngster, himself just 18-years-old, had an excellent season at Craven Cottage last term. In the summer he was linked with a whole host of clubs.
As reported by The Times a year ago, Fulham would not even consider selling Sessegnon for less than £50 million.
Leeds would be right to value Clarke in the same region considering his form and talent.
But, even if a team was willing to pay such an exorbitant amount for the Leeds star, most fans would much prefer that Leeds kept hold of their superb young talent. He could even help guide the Whites back to the Premier League – much like Sessegnon did at Fulham last year.
