Leeds United have recently been linked with a move for Juventus striker Moise Kean. Sport.es has reported that Leeds, Marseille and Galatasaray are three teams in the running for the Italian talent.
Of course, it is not the first time such links have emerged. In January, Gianluca di Marzio reported that Leeds had made an enquiry with Juventus about signing Kean on loan until the end of the season. He was halfway through a similar deal with Hellas Verona at the time, which would have been cancelled.
His signing is undoubtedly appealing. Kean recently won his first Italy cap and is adored by Azzurri boss Antonio Conte. His agent is Mino Raiola, representative of the stars. Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic call Raiola their agent and friend. He valued Kean at £65 million earlier in the year.

All of these factors add up to make Kean sound like the second coming for Leeds.
However, this week, it has emerged that Kean will not be on his way to Elland Road. Massimilano Allegri, the Juventus boss, wants him to remain in Turin. CalcioMercato is reporting that Kean sees himself playing in France, Holland and Germany over the Championship.
“He will remain at Juventus in January, he is a Juventus player and he is not considered a kid. The season is still long and everyone will be needed, he has started well and his time will come.”
So it is time for Leeds to forget about Kean. With Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown set for returns in the weeks to come, the West Yorkshire side will have little need for him, especially with Kemar Roofe and Tyler Roberts also present.
Perhaps, if promoted to the Premier League, there will be another opportunity to sign Kean when it makes more sense.
But right now it appears he would be hard to convince, expensive to do so and simply unnecessary.
