Leeds United are being linked with a move for Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham today. Leeds are currently lacking in the goalkeeping department after Jamal Blackman suffered a broken leg and returned to parent club Chelsea.
At the weekend, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell struggling with a knee problem, youngster Will Huffer had to deputise.
Foderingham has also been a victim of circumstance at Ibrox. Rangers boss Steven Gerrard signed former Ibrox hero Allan McGregor, demoting Foderingham to second choice.
In the summer, it was suggested that Foderingham could be on his way. The Scotsman suggested that Rangers were hopeful of securing a ‘sizeable’ fee for the player, with his current deal expiring in 2020.

Now whilst Leeds could be signing a decent keeper option in Foderingham they should not pay a ‘sizeable’ fee.
If Rangers start looking for anywhere over the £1 million mark for the stopper, Leeds should seriously consider walking away.
There is a reason why Gerrard replaced Foderingham in the summer. He is not good enough to command a big fee and Leeds should make sure they do not overpay for a player who has never played at the Championship level.
At the right price, Foderingham provides a good option. But Leeds should not overpay.
