Charlton Athletic midfielder Joe Aribo is one of the brightest young talents in the Football League.
And he should be on Leeds’ radar ahead of a January or summer move.
The 22-year-old plays as a central midfielder for Charlton and already has 73 senior appearances to his name.
Despite his young age, he is standing out as one of the star players at The Valley and is bound to be attracting bigger clubs soon.
Aribo is confident doing both the defensive and attacking duties required of him in that position.
His former manager Karl Robinson was also full of praise for Aribo.
Robinson worked with Dele Alli at Milton Keynes Dons and has compared the two players.
Speaking about Aribo last season, Robinson said: “Four assists in two games is incredible. I have seen it before with a very special talent who is working in north London now.”
The young midfielder has so much talent and he is getting better with each game he plays. This is exactly the type of signing Leeds should be targeting.
Aribo would provide back-up in the short-term and surely compete with Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich sooner rather than later.
Charlton would surely face a battle to keep their prize starlet if Leeds came in with a serious offer.
And this is a kid who is worth a gamble.
