Sheffield Wednesday’s star forward and Leeds United’s manager should not really represent a match made in footballing heaven.

The rivalry between the two Yorkshire counterparts is fierce and it is fair to suggest that the clubs don’t get along.

Leeds and Wednesday will renew their long-standing hatred for each other on April 13th.

Wednesday star Fernando Forestieri might have done something to add fuel to a rivalry which already resembles a blazing inferno.

The man with four goals and one assist this season has taken to Twitter to share a message and a series of photos with Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa.

The message translates to read: “Even if it’s impossible, don’t claim anything, swallow poison. Accept the injustice that everything balances in the end.”

It is unclear what this quote is and where it originates from.

The photos, however, are of more intrigue, with Forestieri looking extremely friendly with the Whites boss.

Of course, these images could be as inoxious as two compatriots sharing a laugh and a joke.

The duo both have ties to Newell’s Old Boys back in their homeland so that could be of relevance.

It still hasn’t stopped Leeds fans from having a cheeky dig at the careless Wednesday man, however.

We rounded up the best reactions to Forestieri’s bizarre tweet.
