Vydra deal close
It seems Matej Vydra is close to becoming a Leeds United player. He has missed Derby County’s pre-season training camp in Tenerife and has remained in the UK.
The Telegraph report that a £11 million for the Czech Republic international is now in the offing.
Derby need to raise some money and lower their wage bill and have decided to let the Championship top-scorer from last season leave.
Hernandez interest
Leeds United have been linked with a move for Abel Hernandez all summer, but competition is clearly hotting up for the striker.

The Uruguayan is now wanted by Turkish side Bursaspor, according to reports in Turkey. Hurriyet suggests that he is a target, along with the Costa Rica star Bryan Ruiz.
Hernandez is out of contract after leaving Hull City and has also been linked with a move back to Italian football.
No Egan bid
Leeds United have not yet made an approach for Brentford defender John Egan, according to a reliable journalist.
Alan Nixon has suggested on his Twitter feed that the Republic of Ireland defender has not been the subject of a bid as of yet.
Leeds are interested in the Brentford star, but have simply not yet enquired about his services.
The club need new central defensive recruits to challenge Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper, whilst manager Marcelo Bielsa also likes to employ a three-man defence.
