Triple injury blow

Leeds United could be without three more key players for the clash with Middlesbrough at the weekend.

As confirmed by Marcelo Bielsa to Leeds Live, Mateusz Klich, Adam Forshaw and Pablo Hernandez are all doubts for the game.

Klich and Forshaw have knee injuries whilst Hernandez is suffering from a groin problem. Bielsa says they are all in contention for the game but will only play if ‘100% available’.

Bamford on ‘handbags’

Patrick Bamford has spoken of his clash with Tim Krul in the recent game with Norwich City. The Dutch stopper and the Leeds striker got into an altercation, one of many moments in the game from the Norwich stopper that angered Leeds fans.

However, Bamford described the incident, as reported by the YEP, as ‘handbags’ but admitted he should be setting a better example for youngsters watching the game.

He also explained his personal aims going forward, including taking Leeds to the Premier League and proving himself in the top-flight.

Saiz on exit

Samuel Saiz has discussed his Leeds United exit in the Spanish press. Talking to Spanish paper AS he said he ‘did not think twice’ when Getafe came calling.

Saiz joined the Madrid-based side on loan with the YEP suggesting the deal can become permanent in the summer for £6 million.
