Stockdale wanted

Leeds are being linked with a move for David Stockdale to fix their goalkeeping problems. Leeds lost second-choice stopper Jamal Blackman to a broken leg over the weekend and are looking to bring in a new custodian.

Stockdale was heavily linked with Leeds in the summer but could not afford his salary.

Now, as reported by the Birmingham Mail, Leeds are ready to make another move. The experienced keeper, who is from Leeds, has been outcasted by Birmingham boss Garry Monk.

Antenucci on Leeds ‘lightness’

Former Leeds United fan favourite Mirco Antenucci has explained what he liked about playing in England.

The Italian striker stated to Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, that he enjoyed the ‘lightness’ of football in England, suggesting it is less ‘tense’ than in Italy.

The 34-year-old also spoke of his trademark beard, suggesting he kept it due to the appreciation of the Leeds fans.

Antenucci has become a hero at current club SPAL since his Leeds exit.

Kean an international

Leeds United transfer target Moise Kean is now a full Italian international.

Leeds have been linked with a move for the highly-rated Juventus star this week. A reported loan deal is on the cards with Marseille and Galatasaray also keen.

Kean came on as a second-half substitute for Italy last night in a 1-0 friendly win over the USA.
