Pablo ‘magic’

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford scored the crucial winner in the 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers yesterday.

Speaking to EFL Today, as reported by Leeds Live, he gave a lot of the credit for the goal to his team-mate Pablo Hernandez. The striker stated you can always rely on the Spaniard to provide ‘magic’ for Leeds United.

Cocky Smith?

Leeds’ next game in the Championship is against Aston Villa, whose boss Dean Smith is confident they can win.

Speaking after a 2-2 draw with Stoke City yesterday, he is quoted by Birmingham Live as stating that Aston Villa ‘believe’ they can beat the league leader. He can also ‘guarantee’ Aston Villa will score against the tight defensive unit at Leeds.
