Conor out

Conor Shaughnessy has joined Hearts on loan until the end of the season. The move has been discussed for a week now with the Irish under-21 international struggling for first-team football under Marcelo Bielsa.

He joined the Edinburgh club this afternoon and will now join them in a Spanish training camp this week.

Shaughnessy will hope to make his debut against Livingston on the 20th January.

Coyle extends

Lewie Coyle has also extended his exit from the club. As widely expected, the right-back will be spending the rest of the season on loan at Fleetwood Town.

The defender has been on loan at the Highbury Stadium for 18 months now and it will now finish out two years with the Cod Army.

Coyle has fallen behind Jamie Shackleton in the pecking order at Elland Road.

Gomez decision

Leeds appear to have missed out on Ibai Gomez. The Alaves man has been linked with a move to the Whites recently.

However, it appears he is on his way back to Athletic Club, where Marcelo Bielsa had previously managed him.

As reported by Cadena SER, he has rejected a contract offer from Alaves and has his heart set on a return to Bilbao.
