Leeds United round-up: Roofe contract, Bielsa wanted and Gomez transfer
Roofe contract
Leeds United are set to make a move to secure Kemar Roofe to a long-term deal at Elland Road. The striker is currently on a deal until 2020 and has been linked with several Premier League clubs and Italian side Palermo.
The Mirror is now reporting that Leeds will be in talks with his camp after Christmas about extending his stay at Leeds.
The forward has scored 10 goals for Leeds this season and is the current top-scorer at Elland Road.

Bielsa targeted
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is wanted by MLS champions Atlanta United. The club have just lost former Barcelona boss Tata Martino, who has taken over of the Mexican national team, who Bielsa was also linked with.
According to ABC News, the Leeds boss is on the shortlist to take over at the club, with Boca Juniors boss Guillermo Barros Schelotto also being considered.
Gomez deal
Ibai Gomez continues to be linked with Leeds United. The latest report from AS suggests that Leeds are competing with Athletic Club for the player. A fee of around €4 million (£3.6 million)is being mooted by the paper, as relayed by Sport Witness.
Bielsa previously worked with Gomez during his previous spell in Bilbao and appears hopeful of a reunion.
