Roberts firing
Leeds United under-23s were in action this afternoon and picked up a 3-1 win over Sheffield United.
It was a fine performance from Tyler Roberts that led the way. The first-team striker bagged two goals as he continues to try and force his way back into the Leeds starting XI.
Kun Temenuzukhov scored the other goal but Izzy Brown did not feature as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
The result took Carlos Corberan’s side back top of their under-23 league.

Foderingham identified
Leeds have identified Wes Foderingham as a potential replacement for Jamal Blackman. The Chelsea goalkeeper returned to his parent club recently after suffering a leg-break during an under-23 fixture.
Now, as reported by the Express, Leeds are keen on the Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
The 27-year-old has lost his place in the Rangers first-team after the arrival of Allan McGregor in the summer.
Bonne wanted
Leeds are also keen on the Leyton Orient striker Macauley Bonne. According to TEAMtalk, Leeds are joined by Nottingham Forest, Norwich City and Derby County in their interest for the player.
The Zimbabwe international has scored 15 goals already this season and been in fine form since joining the London club from Colchester United.
