Leeds United are again being linked with promising Argentine striker Ezequiel Ponce. Clubcall reports that Leeds checked on the player as AEK Athens drew 0-0 with rivals Panathinaikos 0-0.
Marcelo Bielsa previously signed the player whilst manager at Lille.
Ponce has been in fine form for Athens, scoring five goals in eight games so far this season since joining the club on loan.
Once dubbed the ‘next Batistuta’ he is finally finding form after a serious knee injury.
Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe is again being linked with several Premier League teams. Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Southampton are all keen on the player, according to the Sunday Mirror (04/11/18; pg 66).
Roofe has been in fine form for Leeds this season and scored the winner against Wigan Athletic at the weekend.
His current contract at Elland Road expires in 18 months.
Reghba on radar
Leeds United are being linked with a move for League of Ireland forward Ali Reghba. The Irish Sun reports that the 18-year-old is on the radar of both Middlesbrough and Leeds.
The Irish youngster has scored two goals in two games since breaking into the first-team at his club Bohemians.
Middlesbrough have reportedly invited him over for a trial period, whilst Leeds are hoping to compete for his signature.
