Orta talks
Leeds United’s director of football Victor Orta has been speaking about the three things he takes into consideration when signing a new player at Elland Road.
Speaking to SciSports, he explained how he looks at three main factors. Those three factors are ‘the technical level, psychological level and level of transition’.
Orta is in his second season at Leeds and has been praised for the club’s transfer business in the summer, as well as securing the services of Marcelo Bielsa as manager.

Coyle praised
Fleetwood Town boss Joey Barton has been heaping praise on the form of Leeds United loanee Lewie Coyle.
The full-back has been in fine form for the Cod Army recently. Barton has stated the Leeds defender is a ‘great player’ to have in the squad as he puts in his best performance wherever he is asked to play.
He even suggested he would put in ‘absolutely everything’ if asked to play in goal.
Forshaw hopes
Adam Forshaw has been speaking about his season so far. The Leeds midfielder picked up an injury in pre-season which has seen him struggle to get ahead of others in the Leeds central midfield position.
However, as he told the Yorkshire Evening Post, he is doing everything he can to get back in the starting XI. He stated he was working ‘as hard as he can’ and hopes to find his way ahead of Mateusz Klich and Kalvin Phillips in the Leeds pecking order.
