Darlow off radar
Leeds United will not be signing Karl Darlow, according to The Mirror. The report suggests that Leeds United want a loan deal for the Newcastle United stopper. However, Rafa Benitez is standing firm on the player. He wants Leeds to pay £4 million to sign the player permanently, as he needs transfer funds for January.
The Whites are now said to have begun looking elsewhere for goalkeeping options as they will not be held for ransom.
Leeds want to sign a new goalkeeper to back up Bailey Peacock-Farrell after an injury to Jamal Blackman.
O’Connor new loan
Paudie O’Connor is set to join Bradford City on loan for the rest of the season. According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he has already undergone a medical at Valley Parade.
The Irish centre-back has been on loan at Blackpool this season, where he has been in and out of the first-team picture.
The Bantams have now swooped to sign him until the end of the season with Leeds keen for him to remain out on loan.
Bogusz agent comments
An agent representative of Leeds United target Mateusz Bogusz has commented on his future. Lukasz Maciongowski has told Sport Dziennik that a number of clubs are keen on the player. He said the teenager is ‘very interested’ in a move and wants to join a team that ‘gives young boys a chance’.
Considering the number of youngsters who have come through at Leeds this season the West Yorkshire side must be a viable option.
Onet recently reported that Leeds, along with Brighton, are keen on the Ruch Chorzow talent.
