Jansson unimpressed
Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has been speaking about his recent FA charge. The Swedish defender was reprimanded for comments made after the 1-1 draw with Brentford.
He swore on TV and also called the refereeing performance a ‘robbery.’
But, as reported by the YEP, he told the media in Sweden that he was ‘forced’ to say sorry and that he did not think his comments were a ‘big thing.’

BPF’s step up
Leeds United stopper Bailey Peacock-Farrell believes playing at international level will make him a better player. Speaking after featuring twice for Northern Ireland during the international break he states the standard is a ‘step up’ and that he is ‘enjoying’ the challenge.
The goalkeeper has held off the challenge of new signing Jamal Blackman this season after his arrival from Chelsea on loan.
No surgery for Yosuke
Leeds United midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi will not need surgery on his injured knee, but is still out until the spring.
The Japanese international suffered a knee injury during his loan spell with Greuther Furth, damaging his posterior cruciate ligament.
It is the same injury suffered by Leeds striker Patrick Bamford.
