Jansson charged
Pontus Jansson has been charged by the FA after comments made in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw with Brentford.
The Swedish defender has been cited for using insulting language and bringing the game into disrepute after he swore and claimed the referee’s performance in the game amounted to ‘robbery’ in a live interview.
He is likely to receive a fine for his comments although a ban seems unlikely.

Ekuban fighting
Caleb Ekuban has opened up over his struggle for first-team football at Trabzonspor.
Despite scoring on his debut for the club he finds himself behind Burak Yilmaz and Hugo Rodallega in the pecking order at the club.
But he has told Turkish Football he will not ‘run from the battle’ as he looks to secure a first-team place in the team.
McTominay linked
Leeds United are reportedly one of the teams in the running for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, who appears to be available for loan in January. The Sun is reporting that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is a huge fan of the player, but still feels he needs the time out on loan to develop as a player.
The report claims Leeds were keen in the summer and that offers are already on the table from interested parties.
