Gomez open to move
Leeds United continue to be linked with Alaves attacker Ibai Gomez. AS reports that Gomez will not rush a decision over his future with his contract expiring in the summer and the likes of Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad keen.
Sport Witness reports that Gomez has not ruled out a move to Leeds, as he is impressed by the club’s history and would relish the chance to work with his former Athletic boss Marcelo Bielsa again.
Alaves are currently riding high in La Liga, sitting second behind Barcelona.

‘Perfect example’
Under-23 boss Carlos Corberan has praised the decision of Bielsa to often let senior players feature for the development team. The controversial practice was criticised earlier this season when Patrick Bamford picked up a knee injury in a second-string tie.
However, the Spaniard is a believer in the practice, saying they set a ‘perfect example’ for his young players.
The likes of Lewis Baker, Jamal Blackman and Jack Harrison have all featured for the under-23s this season.
Denton grateful
Leeds United loanee Tyler Denton has expressed his joy at finally making his league debut for Peterborough United.
The Leeds left-back has been out of the Posh squad under former Leeds boss Steve Evans for much of the season.
However, he was called into action v Burton Albion at the weekend in a 2-1 win. Speaking to Posh TV, he described waiting for his chance as ‘difficult’ but also feels he made a statement with his performance.
