Double injury blow
Leeds United have been dealt another massive injury blow. Both Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas are likely to be out of action for the next six weeks, as reported by the BBC.
The Leeds captain Cooper suffered a knee injury against Sheffield United at the weekend and underwent surgery this week. Dallas, meanwhile, suffered a fractured foot.
Both will not play again until 2019.
Goalkeeper’s ruled out
Leeds United are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper but two names linked with the move have been ruled out by Marcelo Bielsa.
According to The Mirror, Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton and Newcastle United stopper Freddie Woodman are not being considered.
Heaton is not considered good enough with the ball at his feet. Meanwhile, Woodman is considered too young and inexperienced.
Leeds United may have to fend off an approach from Manchester City for their flying wide talent Jack Clarke.
The 18-year-old is reportedly a target for the Premier League champions, according to The Sun.
Pep Guardiola is said to be a fan of the player.
He was previously wanted by City before signing his first professional contract with Leeds in the winter of 2017.
