Chelsea join Clarke pursuit
It is not just Manchester City in the hunt for Leeds United talent Jack Clarke. As reported by the Daily Mirror, Chelsea are also keen on the 18-year-old.
The Blues are hopeful of beating City to his signature after impressive recent cameos from the teenager.
Clarke, who has rejected a deal at City in the past, has impressed in recent weeks and is now pushing for a place in the Leeds first-team.

Woodman rejection
Despite reports suggesting that Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa was not interested in Freddie Woodman, the Chronicle Live reports differently.
The Newcastle-based paper suggests that Leeds have had an approach for the England under-21 stopper rejected.
Newcastle currently have an injury problem with Karl Darlow so Woodman is not considered available for transfer.
Injury boost and captain
Marcelo Bielsa has delivered some good news on the injury front. Speaking in his press conference ahead of Leeds United’s game with QPR at the weekend he stated that both Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown are ‘available now.’
He also stated that the dressing room will pick the captain in the absence of the injured Liam Cooper. Pablo Hernandez or Pontus Jansson are the likely candidates.
