Leeds United round-up: Casilla won’t face Stoke, Brown ‘fit’, Clarke offer rejected

Casilla arrives

Leeds United have signed Kiko Casilla. The Real Madrid goalkeeper has joined the club on a four-and-a-half-year deal from the Spanish giants.

The stopper arrives on a free transfer after buying out the remaining 18 months of his contract at the Bernabeu.

He will now provide competition for Bailey Peacock-Farrell. However, as confirmed by Marcelo Bielsa, he is not being considered for the Stoke City game this weekend.

Brown fit

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Izzy Brown is fit, but needs six games to get back to full competitive fitness.

The Chelsea loanee has not yet played for Leeds since joining on loan five months ago.

He recovered from a knee injury, only to suffer a hamstring strain.

Clarke enquiry rejected

Leeds United have rejected an offer from Crystal Palace for their star youngster Jack Clarke. The Yorkshire Evening Post suggests that the Eagles were in touch with Leeds regarding the availability of the talented winger.

However, Leeds informed Palace that he is not for sale at any price in the current transfer window.
