Casilla starts

Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that Kiko Casilla will make his debut for Leeds this weekend. Leeds take on Rotherham and the Argentine has confirmed the January signing from Real Madrid will take the place of Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Speaking in his weekly press conference he suggested that the Northern Ireland international can now take time ‘to correct what he needs to correct.’ He also said Leeds fans can be ‘proud’ of luring Casilla to Elland Road.

‘Unfair’ on James

Graham Potter has told Leeds United target Daniel James to focus on his football. The Swansea City star has become a £5 million target at Elland Road, although they are not, seemingly, keen on such a deal.

Potter stated that the transfer talk is ‘unfair’ on the player and he hopes the Welsh international can continue to thrive at the Liberty Stadium amid the transfer talk.

Clarke update

Leeds United value Jack Clarke in excess of £10 million. The Yorkshire Evening Post is suggesting that there has only been one enquiry for the player. Crystal Palace had been informed by a third party he might be available so Dougie Freedman, the Eagles sporting director, made contact.

Bournemouth and Tottenham are also keen but are respectful of the resistance at Leeds and no approach is expected this month.
