Carter-Vickers on Elland Road

Swansea City defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has been speaking about the atmosphere at Elland Road. The two sides meet this evening in the Championship and the Tottenham Hotspur loanee has been talking to the club’s official website about the game.

He stated that the atmosphere at Elland Road is the sort every player wants to play in and that he will use it as a ‘motivation’ for tonight’s game.

Foyth comments

Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has spoken about Leeds United’s apparent interest in the summer.

Talking to Football.London, he states that he never heard anything regarding a move to Elland Road.

It had previously been suggested that Marcelo Bielsa could have used his good relationship with Mauricio Pochettino to bring Foyth to Leeds on loan for the season.

McCall on Pearce

Stuart McCall says he is expecting more from Leeds United loanee Tom Pearce at Scunthorpe United.

Talking to Grimsby Live he stated that he expects ‘better quality’ from the England under-21 full-back, in specific reference to his dead-ball delivery.

Pearce struggled for form at Leeds this season and could not earn a break under Bielsa.
