Bielsa likes Lens

More on the news regarding Jeremain Lens reportedly being a target for Leeds United. Fotospor is now reporting that Bielsa is a fan of the Dutchman and does indeed want him at Elland Road.

The former Sunderland flop was reportedly watched by Leeds officials in a Europa League clash with Sarpsborg last week, in which he scored twice.

Portugal mission

Leeds United scouts were recently present in a game between Rio Ave and Sporting Lisbon. According to Record, as relayed by Sport Witness, Leeds watched the two sides clash on Monday night.

Whilst no specific target was mentioned, Leeds are clearly spreading their net throughout Europe in order to sign the best players for their future.

Goodman slams BPF

Sky Sports’ Football League pundit Don Goodman has criticised Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. Despite his recent heroics against Reading, he has had a season of mixed form at Elland Road.

Goodman, who is not exactly popular with the Leeds fanbase, has told Sky Sports this week (03/12/18, 1pm)that the player’s judgement ‘is really not good’ and that he is ‘going to cost Leeds’ with his erratic performances.

The Northern Ireland international has kept two consecutive clean sheets.
