Bielsa ‘likes’ Bounedjah
Marcelo Bielsa continues to be interested in Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah. According to Foot01, the Argentine coach is a big fan of the 27-year-old player, who is currently playing in Qatar with Al Sadd.
He was linked with Leeds in the summer and is said to be valued at around €15 million (£13.3 million).
His goalscoring record this season has been incredible. Bounedjah has scored 23 goals in 12 games in the Qatar Stars League this season, 13 in 12 Asian Champions League games and three in four games for Algeria. That’s an astonishing overall record of 39 goals in 28 games.

Stockdale talk
Leeds United summer target David Stockdale has hinted on January at his desire to leave Birmingham City. The Leeds-born stopper was linked with a switch to Elland Road in the summer.
Stockdale was speaking on Twitter after having his emergency loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers cancelled against his will by his parent club.
The experienced stopper has been training with the under-18s this season after being cast aside by Garry Monk.
Stockdale has been spoken of as a potential replacement to the injured Jamal Blackman.
