Leeds United are not interested in the sale of Kemar Roofe, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. It has been reported that the likes of West Brom, Sheffield United and newly promoted Blackburn Rovers are all keen on the player.
However, it appears that Leeds have Roofe in their plans. He was the club’s top scorer last season despite not reaching his best form.
Roofe will hope he can have a better season at Elland Road and continue his goalscoring form.
They may also pursue a permanent deal, considering the teenager is out of contract in one year.
The Portugal youth international arrived at West Ham from Chelsea in 2016.
Youngster Mallik Wilks has left Leeds, joining Doncaster Rovers on loan for the first half of the season.
The 19-year-old striker spent last season on loan at Accrington Stanley and Grimsby Town and is considered a top talent by the Leeds hierarchy.
He will hope to catch the eye in League One this term.
