Leeds United round-up: Rey loan, Milner excited and Bielsa slammed

Rey on the way

It seems Oriol Rey might be on his way out of Leeds United. Mundo Deportivo, as relayed by Sport Witness, are suggesting the under-23 player is on the bring of a move to lower league side Conquense.

The report does not suggest whether the deal is permanent or temporary.

Rey signed a new deal at Leeds in May so the most logical suggestion would be a loan switch.

Milner likes the view

James Milner has been sharing his happiness at looking at the Premier League and Championship tables.

Not only is he top of the Premier League with his current club Liverpool, his favourite club Leeds are top of the Championship.

He shared an image of both table-topping sides on his Instagram page suggesting it was ‘great viewing’.

Bielsa slammed

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has seen plenty of praise for his work before and now after he arrived at Elland Road.

But not everyone appears to be pleased with the Leeds man.

Alfio Basile, a fellow former Argentina international boss, spoke about the Leeds boss in some length to La Nacion this week.

He described him as a sell-out for his constant changing of jobs and roles.

Seems Basile might have eaten something slightly sour.
