Phillips happy
Kalvin Phillips has been speaking to the Leeds United website about his start to the season.
The midfielder has been one of the better players for Leeds this term and has benefitted more than anyone from new manager Marcelo Bielsa’s training.
He spoke of how Bielsa has given him the confidence to play at his best level this season. Phillips struggled for form last term, but has looked a much more polished player this term.

Bailey criticised
Former Arsenal defender Lee Dixon has been commenting on Bailey Peacock-Farrell. The Leeds stopper made his international debut for Northern Ireland yesterday. He had an indecisive moment which led to Bosnia’s second goal.
Former England international Dixon comments on ITV’s highlights of the game that Peacock-Farrell looked ‘a bit scared’ in coming to claim the ball.
He also went on to praise his talent and ability but suggested at 21-year-old he is still ‘a baby’ and has a ‘lot of learning to do.’
Nicell contract
Leeds United youngster Callum Nicell has signed a new contract at the club. The 18-year-old talent has signed a deal to remain with Leeds until 2022.
The talented midfielder has been tipped by many to become a first-team regular at Elland Road.
