Leeds United are interested in bringing Matthew Pennington back to the club on loan this season, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Leeds had the Everton defender on loan last season and, despite impressing when playing, he spent most of the season on the treatment table.

But Leeds are said to still be keen on having him back at Elland Road for the season. Wigan Athletic are also interested and will provide competition for his signature.
