O’Kane on the block
It seems Eunan O’Kane’s time at Leeds United is up, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
They are reporting that the former Bournemouth star will not be in the plans of new manager Marcelo Bielsa for next season, having clearly not been impressed by what he sees from the player.
The Irishman struggled for his best form at Leeds last season and it appears the 27-year-old will need to find himself a new team this summer.
Marcus Antonsson, Jay-Roy Grot, Caleb Ekuban and Andy Lonergan are also believed to be on their way out.
Pawel Cibicki has left the club to join Norwegian side Molde on loan. Leeds United signed the Swedish international last summer from Malmo and he was expected to become a big player for the club.
However, he soon found himself out of favour and playing with the development team. Paul Heckingbottom did not use the winger/striker after his appointment at Elland Road.
The 24-year-old will stay with the club until the end of 2018 when his future will then be further assessed by the West Yorkshire side.
No move for Jerry
Leeds have ended their pursuit of Jerry Mbakogu of Italian side Carpi. The Nigerian has long been linked with Leeds and a £3 million deal was once in place.
But, as reported by the YEP, Leeds have decided to pull the plug on a deal despite Carpi trying to sell him at a reduced rate.
