New kit reverts to type
Leeds United have unveiled their new kit ahead of the new season. The official launch for the new kit is on Friday but it has been shown in a promotional image this afternoon. It appears manufacturers Kappa have gone for a more traditional look than the gold trimmed effort from last year.
According to the YEP, Leeds will not wear the kit against Oxford United this evening, instead it will be debuted when they face Las Palmas on Sunday.

Derby battle again
It appears Leeds United and Derby County are at odds with each other in a transfer race again. The player in question is Jack Marriot of Peterborough United. Bristol City have completed a deal for Mo Eisa of Cheltenham Town so are no longer interested.
Valued at £6.5 million the Posh striker has been linked with Leeds and Derby this summer after a 33-goal season last term.
Derby recently beat Leeds to the signing of Florian Jozefzoon and the Whites will not want a repeat of that deal.
Madeley passes
In sad news former Leeds United player Paul Madeley has died aged 73. ‘Mr Versatile’ played in all but one position for Leeds playing 727 games in an 18-year career.
A league, League Cup and FA Cup winner he played under both Don Revie and Jimmy Armfield at Elland Road.
Leeds will wear black armbands in their friendly with Oxford United this evening in memory of the former England international.
