Leeds have been looking into the possibility of signing the Uruguayan on a free transfer since the start of the summer. It comes after he rejected a new deal at Hull City and became a free agent.

Now, his agent Pablo Betancourt has stated that they are ‘delighted’ with the offer from CSKA – as reported by Diario Carioca.
Leeds United have completed the signing of a new academy player. The club have secured a deal for talented young left-back Leif Davis. The news is reported on the club’s official website, with Davis signing a three-year deal.
The 18-year-old will now go into the development squad at Leeds, where he is likely to replace Tom Pearce, who is playing with the first-team.
Cibicki wants return
Pawel Cibicki may have left Leeds United yesterday but the Swede does not believe his career at the club is over.
The attacker left for Norwegian side Molde on loan yesterday, after struggling to find first-team football at Leeds last term. He told Fotbollskanalen that he is looking forward to playing football for Molde and proving he can cut it at Leeds.
His loan deal expires at the end of 2018.
