Hernandez battlecry

Pablo Hernandez has hailed the club’s excellent start to the season. Leeds defeated Championship favourites Stoke City 3-1 at Elland Road yesterday, with Hernandez scoring the second goal.

The YEP quote the Spanish playmaker as claiming Leeds have laid down a marker and proved they will be ‘difficult to beat’ this season after a stunning display at Elland Road.

Bielsa effect

The man receiving most of the praise for the performance is Leeds’ new manager Marcelo Bielsa. The Argentine has a reputation in the game as one of the best managers around.

Now, a Manchester City player has spoken about the Leeds boss.

Benjamin Mendy has praised him before, after changing the way he played the game during their time working together at Marseille.

He commented on Twitter that Leeds fans were feeling the ‘Bielsa effect’ already at Elland Road.

Radebe Jr

Lucas Radebe is on trial at Leeds United. That’s Lucas Radebe Jr. The son of the legendary  Leeds United centre-back is a winger or forward.

The 19-year-old, according to BBC Leeds, is on trial at Leeds for the next week as he looks to earn a deal at Thorp Arch.
