Cooper warning

Liam Cooper has admitted his fear that sides will be parking the bus against Leeds this season after their excellent start to the campaign.

Leeds are top of the table at present and have shown excellent attacking form under Marcelo Bielsa.

But Middlesbrough recently shut up shop at Elland Road and Cooper is quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post as stating that Leeds must ‘be prepared’ for such negative tactics this season.

Two Leeds nominees

Two Leeds United players have been nominated for the Championship player of the month award. Leeds have been the outstanding team in the league so far this season and Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe have been pivotal to that success.

The pair are both included on the shortlist for player of the month, along with the likes of Andreas Weimann, Neal Maupay, Darren Randolph and Nick Powell.

Balboa goal

Adrian Balboa scored his first goal for new club Terrassa this weekend. He made his debut for the club, after previously spending much of the summer with Badalona.

He scored in the fourth tier clash v Santfeliuenc as the teams shared the spoils.

The youngster will hope to prove his worth to Leeds during his time back home.
