Leeds United have been dealt a huge injury blow. Patrick Bamford is set to be out for four months after an injury to his posterior cruciate ligament.
The striker, signed from Middlesbrough in a £7 million deal this summer, suffered the injury during an under-23 game recently.
The injury will leave Leeds short in attack, with Kemar Roofe the most experienced option and the likes of Tyler Roberts and Ryan Edmondson in reserve.
Pontus Jansson is not a happy man after his recent international outing. The centre-back played the full 90 minutes as Sweden through away a 2-0 lead against Turkey.
Sweden were 2-1 up with two minutes left. But two late goals from Galatasaray midfielder Emre Akbaba gave Turkey a 3-2 win in Solna.
Speaking to the Swedish media after the game Jansson was frank in his assessment stating it was a ‘huge disappointment’ and used some rather strong language that can’t be repeated.
Millwall boss Neil Harris has been speaking about the upcoming game with Leeds United. He is quoted by the South London Press & Mercury as admitting it will be a ‘really difficult game’ but that if his side works hard they can get a result.
