Leeds United are waiting for Mateusz Klich’s agent to arrive from Poland so they can finally ratify the midfielder’s new contract at Elland Road, according to reports.
The Polish international has been one of the biggest success stories for Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds. The midfielder was pulled in from the cold after a loan spell at FC Utrecht and has gone on to become a key member of the Argentine’s first-team and a firm fan favourite.
He is currently out of contract at the end of the season, but it seems that Leeds fans fretting over his future have nothing to be concerned with.

Leeds Live is reporting that a contract extension for Klich is ‘done’ but just needs to be signed off. The club have reportedly been waiting ‘an awfully long time’ for his agent to arrive from Poland to get the paperwork sorted.
TBR’s View
Hopefully, Leeds and Klich can get this new deal finalised as soon as possible.
The midfielder is a crucial element to Bielsa’s plans and also provides a goal threat from midfield that cannot be underestimated.
On top of that, he is adored by the fans because of his exuberant personality and he can easily go on to cult-like status if he remains at Elland Road.
